Jiggler

This work connects to my research around the mental and physical space. Inspired by my thoughts of when I was a child sitting bored in the classroom staring at a pin tree outside. Just wanting to escape. I would imagine slipping out of my body through my feet down to the tiles of the floor through the wall and the concrete up until the tree's roots, sliding up through the crack of its bark as high as its needles would go. A three-legged sculpture that maybe will shed itself from time to time. Inspiration came from the enjoyment when something small but unexpected is happening for a brief moment and is perceived by only one or two people in the room. Maybe you can see it as a little easter egg for the curious minds. Observing the dynamics and how they communicate with the other wanting to share their excitement and the daunting of the other person. Questioning if what they saw really happened. Thinking in whoms realities do they live.
